Baby Lapsit
We know that it’s not easy to tackle your challenges alone, which is why we’re pleased to offer our Career Guidance service for all members of the community. Trained staff and volunteers are always here to help.
Babies Can Be Members Too! Program
This program aims to reach out to parents to register their babies as library members and encourage bonding through reading at an early age. Parents can apply for membership online at the library website or walk-in at our library.
Parents who have registered their child as a library member are eligible to redeem a Baby Gift Pack.

Outdoor Activities
Book relay race
Divide your group into two teams. You will need a backpack for each team along with two bags filled with an equal number of books and two empty containers deposited at the opposite end of the yard. Children pick a book, place it in their team's backpack, run to the container at the other end of the yard, drop the book in the container, and run back to give the backpack to the next child in their team. The first team to successfully deposit all its books in their team's container wins.
Outdoor storytime
Enjoy story time outside. If you wish, you may even bring a book along when you go to the playground. Sit under a tree or in bleachers (if available) to read to your group.
Bookends
Take a walk with your group and encourage each child to look for two medium-sized rocks. Let children wash their rocks in a container filled with water and let dry. Children can paint their rocks and add glitter. What beautiful bookends!
